Bio
Philanthropist and mother of three, is a product of Chicago's Englewood inner city neighborhood. She lived in affordable housing with her mother and siblings, educated in the public school system. Frequent visits to see her mother, is a constant reminder of the challenges and concerns affecting its residents. As a young mother, her first apartment was in public housing, impacting her life forward. This experience affected her decisions to seek alternatives to financial security thus providing a better quality of life for her family. Among her goals was to rear her sons in a safe nurturing community that would afford opportunities to be productive, successful adults away from the influences of the streets. From welfare to a self-sufficient mind set, she's passionate about empowering others to find solutions to achieve their goals.
The aspirations that were founded on family values navigated to a college experience leading her to entrepreneurship. This experience was the birthing of her passion to help people.
