Bio
Carlos Grasso is the founder of, filmmaker and musician in ASPHALT SERENADE. Our mission is to make film a performance experience where a narrative film is edited live in synergy to a performed score. Our first film and score is "Elegy Highway", a surreal mash-up American road trip as seen through the eyes of a boy scout on a bus ride to Washington, D.C.. The film and score was directed, composed and performed by Carlos Grasso and James Slay. Carlos Grasso is a writer/filmmaker/musician based in New Orleans, La.
