Bio
Diana Elarde is a prose writer whose work honors those transitional times in our lives and explores how these transitions affect us, our families, our friends and our future journeys.
Recently, she was honored as a contributing author in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Miraculous Messages from Heaven.
Her work “The Umbrella” was highlighted in the Michigan Women’s Forum and Michigan Journal for not only bringing new light on the face of homeless, but also for examining the true essence of giving.
Her journey, as well as the journeys of others, and the honoring those milestones of transitions are central to her work.
Her stories serve as a reminder that though we may not see the road in front of us, we always have a light to guide us – A Star in my Hand.
Diana and her husband Vince are now residents of the Phoenix area. She lived in Colorado for 25 years and spent the majority of her career in sales, sales management and consulting. In addition to her writing, she also teaches Psychology for Mesa Community College.
