Atava is the founder of Ancestral Apothecary School of Herbal, Folk and Indigenous Medicine. She's dedicated to cultivating a healing relationship with her ancestors, her dreams, and the plants. She's studying and practicing herbal medicine, bodywork and curanderismo for over twenty years in Oakland, California.
