Bio
I like to take life as if Murphy's Law is as much a universal law as gravity and find that it makes life more enjoyable that way. After all… if it goes wrong, it was going to anyway, but if it goes right (or left) then it's already a great day!
Growing up in Adelaide, Australia for the most part, I discovered books at a young age and by my teens was reading approximately 5-10 novels a week by authors such as Jean M Auel, Robert Jordan, Anne McCaffrey, Piers Anthony, Elizabeth Moon, Douglas Adams, David & Leigh Eddings, and many, many others.
Living in Melbourne, Australia, with my sister and two cats, I discovered a talent for editing when my health prevented me from working on a scheduled basis. Since May 2010, I have worked as an Editor, Editor in Chief and Acquisitions Editor and currently work as an editor for Fireborn Publishing (with the occasional freelance job). I also write reviews in an attempt to give back to the industry and am an active part of AQRM (Australasian Queer Romance Meets).
My reading habits are extremely varied, although at the moment I am mostly focused on the M/M romance genre with a strong focus on plot driven rather than romance driven stories. If you put a book in front of me, no matter the genre, it is almost certain I will at least take a look at the blurb. My favourite genres, if someone pressed for an answer, are science fiction, paranormal, futuristic and fantasy.
Although my work can be sporadic due to my health, I hope to stay in the M/M romance literature community for quite some time to come.
