Bio

I am an instructional designer with a passion for connecting humanness, healing, and empathy to technology. I'm solution-oriented. I'm trained in ADDIE, rapid prototyping, and SAM. I focus on doing the right research, I hone in on goals and objectives, and then I design and build according to the audience and stake holders' needs. All instructional design comes with continuous learning on the part of the designers because technology is constantly evolving and so is society. I've focused much of my time and tithing towards organizations with missions that align with my hopes for a future we can all be proud of. I entered this path in 2006 when I became certified in massage therapy and energy work and obtained the NCBTMB national certification in 2009. I then focused on applying energy and healing towards performing arts and communications, eventually progressing to the science realm of technology and instruction. I believe that the application of one's own experiences and passions to learning can increase the effects of that learning ten-fold because it makes learning fun, memorable, and relevant.
