Bio
Ave Rex is a luchador, and armchair cultural critic. His blog chronicles his adventures in the ring, but more often he analyzes representations of race, class, sex, gender, and sexual orientation within professional wrestling. In the future he hopes to help develop a lucha libre gym & physical-fitness based program for underserved youth.
He is currently living in Mexico City, and training with Profesor Virus in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre school of lucha libre.
