Bio
I'm a simple living (previously American) city farmer living in a hilltown in Umbria. I grow food and beauty with pure simplicity, virtually no expense, and no carbon footprint. I'm basically a dirt farmer, an alchemist, turning waste into compost--straw into gold. I save the seeds and make the soil, but then the plants pretty much care for themselves. I pay attention to the natural world just outside the town gates. I'm educated in botany and agriculture but I credit Mother Nature (and my Italian neighbors) with most of my ideas.
