Bio
Avi Davis is a writer based in Los Angeles. Born in Australia, he has lived in England, France, Israel and the United States. His travels haven included a 1,000 mile walk across the south of England; a bike ride from London to Jerusalem ( traversing North Africa and the Sinai Desert); a bicycle ride from Seattle to Los Angeles, a kayak journey on the Canal de Tortuguera in Costa Rica and a journey along the Madre de Dios , a tributary of the Amazon in Peru.
In 1986 he purchased a 600 year old home in the city of Safed in Israel
which he has slowly renovated over the past 20 years.
Avi has two sons, Amiad and Mati. His parents, Betty and Jack reside in Jerusalem which he visits often.
