Married before 18th and widowed before 28th, the excruciating journey of widowhood has processed me that as an educationist with an M.ed on educational administration, professional teacher.
As a widow I was ejected from apartment, suspended by my employee with only once choice of getting my job back #sex. Barely 28 years with 4 kids all under 9 years, in three months of my life in 1994(March - June) I went from being a wife with home and a teacher to being a widow, homeless and jobless.
It was an experience I too ask myself; how did you survive?
Having identified the power of our informal learning as culture on the hideous experiences taking place in widowhood is on a journey of reorientation of our mindset and ideologies to widows and widowhood. Building the socio-emotional well being of widows is the power to her financial capabilities.
