Bio
As the daughter of two bakers, you would expect that I would have some level of baking ability, right?
Well, I don’t. I have baked countless cakes that were dull and lifeless, breads that resembled rocks and even sausage rolls that came second to supermarket freezer brands.
My goal? To discover the tips and tricks of fail-proof baking. To be able to bake a cake decent enough to bring in to work for a colleague’s birthday or to a friend’s party. I just want to enjoy eating my baked goods as much as I enjoyed making them. Is that so hard to ask?
It dawned upon me one night, what better way of keeping myself accountable to this pursuit than to blog my journey from zero to hero in the baking world? Okay, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself!
So here it is. Join me on my journey to discovering the tips and tricks to fail-proof baking. No doubt there will be times when we will both laugh, cringe and *fingers crossed* salivate over what I pull out from my oven doors.
Here’s to baking,
Sarah Nguyen
