Bio
I'm a multinational Industrial Design Engineering student at the Hague University of applied sciences.
Having parents from vastly different societies and cultural backgrounds has affected many aspects of my life differently, growing up in Jordan has opened my eyes on problems that face that part of the region as well as other third world countries, wether it's shortage of resources, services, inflation,...etc. and has motivated me to find solutions to improve the quality of life, especially for those in need.
Being half Dutch, visiting and doing my bachelors in the Netherlands has shown me a different part of society that is more open and technically advanced and has introduced me to a different style of living with different societal problems. As a child I used to love taking products apart and analysing how they work, and having an engineer father I used to observe him fix things, he used to challenge my skills and improve them by letting me help him and find solutions to problems.
Having such a background, as well as being a technology enthusiast, always staying up to date with the newest technology advancements, has motivated me to study Mechatronics engineering and now Industrial design engineering with a goal, which is to create products that solve the problems people face daily especially in third world countries.
