Bio
Brian Cooke is an Executive Mortgage Consultant (NMLS # 17866) from San Francisco, CA. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2001 with a degree in Economics, Brian began his career with Provident Funding. Having originated over 7,500 loans totaling more than $1.6 billion in the past 11 years with Provident Funding, Brian is one of the top producing loan originators in the country. Brian brings a vast wealth of knowledge, experience, and efficiency to the table for each customer.
In July 2015, Brian began creating industry insight posts from the lens of a loan originator with the goal of increasing consumer awareness and preparation when seeking a mortgage loan.
Brian is licensed to originate loans in AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, & WA.
On a more personal note, Brian enjoys cooking and spending quality time with his wife, and learning the sites, sounds and culture of each US state through his running. Since 2010, he has completed 16 marathons in 13 different states (AK AZ CA MA MN MS MT NY OH SC TN TX WA), including a top 250 finish at the 2012 Boston marathon. He ran Boston again in 2014 to pay tribute to the victims of the 2013 Boston marathon bombing, and the NYC marathon for a 2nd time in 2013 to pay tribute to the victims of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. He has a goal to complete running a marathon in all 50 states within the next 10 years.
