Bio
Christ the Saviour Orthodox Christian Church located in beautiful east Texas, just 1 1/2 hours east of Dallas and 30 minutes south of Tyler.
Our parish is 10 years old and our congregation consist of about 35-45 most Sundays. We are Western Rite Orthodox, so our services are shorter and more 'user friendly' than our Eastern Rite brothers. We have the candles, incense and icons of a normal Orthodox Church. Fr. Barry is a full-time pastor and a full-time CRNA. He is married to Kh Linda and they have two married grown children with each two children.
