Bio
After having been a full-time educator (classroom teacher, college administrator, private school administrator) for 32 years, in 2007 I accepted a new and challenging role, that of “auntie-mom” to my nephew (who had just lost his mom to cancer and who had lost his dad four years previously). In 2013, I authored a self-help book, Facing the Sunshine and Avoiding the Shadows: Strategies to Stay Sane and Positive amid Change and now provide motivational and inspirational presentations, many of them based on my experiences and information from the book. This blog is a forum where I can share information on negotiating, managing, and surviving change in everyday life.
