Bio
I am a retired paralegal who loves Pinterest, collecting recipes, baking, cooking and reading recipe books. I have one husband, two great adult children and four fabulous granddaughters. We also have two fur babies, one rescue dog that is a hot mess but we love her anyway and one shorthair black rescue cat. The animals have a symbiotic relationship. The dog thinks the cat is her personal plaything and the cat teases the dog relentlessly. Mr Bee spends a lot of time helping me throughout my day. We love to work together in the kitchen. We have made the most incredible chocolate layer cake with Skor candy bars, smashed and used in the chocolate cream filling. This fantastic cake had a very tasty ganache spread over the top, made from scratch. It was served at a family gathering where it got rave reviews. I'm sure we'll make it again.
Things I can't live without in my kitchen: Kitchenaid mixer, electric pressure cooker, a well used slow cooker, microwave and mostly, my gas stove. Here in Arizona, most of the homes are set up for an electric range. I hate cooking with electric and it was kind of a it deal getting our home set up for gas. Now, I enjoy using it often.
I'm an active Red Hat member and highly recommend this ladies social get togethers. My eldest granddaughter is also a full fledged "Pink Hatter" for women under 50, she is almost 17 and we have a grand time together,
