Bio
Beth Jinkerson worked with Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) for nearly 30 years. She has an AA degree in Modern Foreign Languages and a BS degree in Business Management. As ORAU’s IT Director, Beth managed technical employees, budgets and information systems for 15 years, and served on advisory boards for Pellissippi State Community College, Knoxville College, Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Oracle Showcase Program, US Department of Energy Chief Information Officer Committee, and as a panelist for Microsoft.
After a medical disability, Jinkerson now quietly pursues creative arts such as beading, silverwork, cartonnage, book binding, painting, and needle arts. She has been a juried member of galleries in Oak Ridge, Clinton, and the Appalachian Arts Craft Center in Tennessee, and a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. Beth is the mother of two sons, Paul and Greg, and two cats, Pixie and Percy. Her greatest passion, though, is her Christian faith and a life-long love of Bible study and teaching.
