Bio
One day in 2007 I decided to head to Springbrook in the Gold Coast Hinterland for the day to photograph the scenery with my little point and shoot camera little knowing that this decision would change my life. On that day I met a beautiful couple who happened to be photographers. We struck up a conversation and got on so well that we exchanged details and they have been firm friends since. They basically took me under their wing, taking me on Sunday drives and showing me the “photographic ropes” so speak.
Since then I have read much, asked lots of questions of other photographers and I am continually learning. That’s the beauty of photography, you can never ever know it all!
Photographing sunrises and sunsets has become my first love, it gives me so much pleasure and joy. People think that I am crazy to get up before dawn but what they don’t understand is that it’s the most stunning part of the day. I enjoy the tranquility and solitude but most of all Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me with her stunning dawn and dusk colours. I love to show people what they are missing out on by sleeping in!
