Bio
I was an ordained pastor in a Reformed denomination. I pastored a church in Southern California for 5 years before succumbing to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I resigned the pastorate in 2000 and spent two years convalescing. The doctors were able to diagnose various problems, and were able to alleviate some of the symptoms. But they never got to the heart of the matter.
In time, it pleased the Lord to allow me to recover anyway. From 2002 to 2005 I worked and spent my spare time searching for a pulpit. There was a lot of interest; but ultimately, no church extended a call. Eventually, my family and I decided it was too expensive to live in Southern California, so we moved to the Kansas City area.
