Bio
The most difficult subject to put into words is, "who am I?" There are a multitude of happenings between the three clauses that sum up my life: I was born; I lived; and I died.
You may assume I have not reached the third stage of that sentence as I am writing now. My current interests are writing, having published several short stories and one romance novel. I never thought I would be a romance writer, but my mind turned that way and a book was born. It is titled "The Island House," and is available at B&N.com as well as on Amazon/KIndle. Before I took to writing as part of my retirement therapy, I worked in Public Relations and Customer Service.
Writing became even more important to me after my husband passed away. It occupies my mind and I mentally ask him how a phrase sounds.
Originally I lived in Rhode Island, then Birmingham, Alabama, then Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and then Cape Coral, Florida. I have had a multitude of jobs and careers, but I have found I like being an author the best -- it is challenging, interesting, and sometimes the story drives itself (as in The Island House).
My second novel "Hang the Witch" is a historical fiction story based on the life of my eighth great grandmother who was tried for witchcraft three separate times. Having a witch in my family tree was fun and interesting to research. Also available on Amazon and Kindle.
