Bio
I am a retired educator and writer living in Mississauga with my wife Anny and our sibling cats Cynthia and Joey. I have two grown sons who live in Berlin, Germany and Cochrane, Alberta respectively, a step-son In Scarborough, and three grand-daughters, two in Cochrane and one in Berlin. I grew up on a farm in rural South-Western Ontario but left at nineteen to study at university and to become a teacher. I have taught elementary and secondary school in Canada as well as elementary, secondary school and university in Northern China. After retiring from teaching, I spent about five years driving a cab in Waterloo County. I have published four books, several newspaper articles, and have completed my doctoral dissertation on the topic Successful Illiterate Men. Although I have lived in Ontario for most of my life, I have lived for shorter times in Vancouver and in the Chinese city of Harbin. I am presently working on new projects including a sequel to the murder mystery Big Wheel, a thriller set in Kitchener-Waterloo, and a youth story called The Summer of the Ennead.
