Bio
Hi, welcome all! I live in the Western New York and have been a long time freedom fighter for men’s rights. My first encounter with a feminist zealot was when I was in my early teens. I did as I always have done and that was see an "older" [in her late 20's early 30's LOL] woman coming up behind me outside a clothing store so I held the door open for her. BIG mistake! The audacity that I had was apparently beyond all conceivable comprehension. She was dressed in a gray skirt suit with tie, high-heal shoes, black, stockings, blue eye shadow, eyeliner, and heavy mascara, rouge and a pale face. Her black hair was pulled back tight, which may have given her a headache and made her grumpy, who knows but her response was gruff and course, "WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM, HELPLESS!?" With scorn and total contempt in her eyes for a young teen male, she said nothing else and walked through the door I was holding open anyway. This was my first encounter with a feminist in real life [outside of the media, papers, and the news] and I was stunned. I am sure I stood there holding the door for awhile but I could not tell you for how long. Although I did not know it at the time I am sure that this experience set at least a part of my platform for my future dealings with feminism.
It was not much longer before I became well aware of the disparities in scholarships, where few were aimed specifically at boys except the one or two generic athletic and scholarly [BTW why does the scholarly person need scholarship?
