Bio

I was born in London, grew up in London and educated in London. I happened upon someone that became my best friend, they lived a few hundred miles away. At the age of 20 I escaped London, travelled the miles north and so many years later I am still with my best friend. I've stuck it out in this wet, overcast city, with most beautiful Lochs and countryside only a short drive away. Believe me, you don't get that in London. I have spent many years in meaningless jobs, finding outside satisfaction from playing music in my younger youth and recently writing. Whilst I feel too old to jump around with an electric guitar in various dives around Glasgow, I now spend far too much time in coffee shop haunts, head buried in a second-hand laptop, annoying myself to headaches by my lack of vision and originality... But one must never give up on the mind's need to be creative, even if most of the people around you look at you very strangely when you come out of the literary closet by saying "I write. I'm working on a novel." Their look of bemusement is, mostly, priceless. Say hello if you like, I'll probably say hello back. I'm always looking for a distraction from actually knuckling down to 'work'...
