Bio
I write prose and poetry and I like doing it best in Bloomsbury, where I was born and have lived since a few years after the Brunswick Shopping Centre was built and before the area got trendy. As a child, I remember the People's Supermarket when it was a Stalinist Co-op supermarket....I remember a time when you didn't have to have a child with you to enter Coram Fields park...I remember when there were no coffee shops on Marchmont Street but when there was an old fashioned provisions' store called Edwards. Mr Edwards was a smartly-aproned and more successful version of Arkwright in, Open All Hours. There was a florist called Chivers and a proper fishmonger with red snappers on the slab where now is Snappy Snaps....
