Bio
After five hard years of work, part-time jobs, and figuring out what I wanted to do with my life I finally graduated. All the job offers, all the internship opportunities that I thought would be waiting for me were gone after the stock market crashed and the economy took a dive two short months before graduation.
With the economy down, businesses cutting their losses and companies doing nosedives one after another I took an opportunity in Korea. I didn't know where I'd be living or who I'd be living with but I figured that a job was better than nothing. I left the unpaid research position and the tutoring job that had kept me afloat for a few months and took a one-way ticket across the world to a country which I'd only visited a few times.
After nearly two decades of sleeping through language classes, studying via television and music, and living with Korean parents I thought I was ready for anything that the country had to throw at me.
Holy crap how wrong I've been.
