Bio
I was raised in the Cotswolds and joined the Royal Navy in 1961. I stayed there for 11 years, went round the world twice and learned electronics. I also learned how to sail, how to shoot, and how to dive.
When I left the Service in 1972 I became a Technical Author and spent the next 37 years writing technical manuals for the Ministry of Defense and others.
I had an enforced retirement in 2009 and decided to spend my retirement in South Africa. I was forced to return in 2012 due to prohibitive medical insurance.
