Bio
Brooklyn born, R. A. Keenan survived the Age of Aquarius despite his best efforts to the contrary. During the decades prior to his retirement, he could be seen brandishing his shillelagh while hiking along the forest covered hills and cliff tops of the Hudson River Valley, a grand land, indeed. Here in the Land of Flowers, alas, taverns with real dartboards are few and far between, though a well brewed pint may still be found, and most importantly, the steadfast companionship of his best friend, forever and still a Carioca bride in his heart.
A dozen of his short stories have been published here and there, most in online journals. His creative nonfiction is available in several print anthologies: "The Dandelion Muse" (My Writing Life,) "The Goy Boys" (Patchwork Path - Treasure Box) and "The Man Who Fell from the Sky," (Prole, Issue 3 at Prole.com.)
