'For more than twenty five years now, a connection with a particular species of bird has been a pivotal part of my life. Dreamwork and divination (especially astrology) have been critical to my understanding of this connection, and its context. I have also been an avid reader of the relevant ornithology and lore.
Now retired, I last worked for a user/survivor led 'mental health' voluntary organisation, then did an applied social science PhD that became a book on the politics of men's distress and madness.'
