Bio
I'm a New York-based film historian, critic, and TV programmer who has been writing freelance published articles about film for over three decades and articles and reviews about Japanese animation for nearly two decades. I am the co-author of "Anime Classics Zettai: 100 Must-See Japanese Animation masterpieces" (Stone Bridge, 2007) and have taught courses on anime at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the City College of New York. I have written hundreds of reviews for Amazon.com and IMDB. The point of this blog is to share thoughts, insights and information on films and anime titles I've seen, with the emphasis on things that won't get much coverage elsewhere.
