Following 15+ years in the online gambling industry, which included senior-level positions at Card Player Magazine, Better Collective, The Game Day and most recently Forbes, Brian Pempus founded GamblingHarm.org in 2025.
Brian’s work on gambling policy and regulation has been cited by the Washington Post, Fortune Magazine, ESPN, Wisconsin Law Review, The Journal of Corporation Law, The University of Cincinnati Law Review, The Congressional Research Service, Tennessee Bar Association, UNLV Center for Gaming Research, and The Ohio State Law Journal.
He lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with his family.
