Bio
Welcome to my mind, where I hope you will encounter insight, inspiration and humor as you navigate your way through my narrative and thoughts.
I would like to believe that I am an artist, but what I mostly am is a creative enthusiast. I enjoy interacting with the world in which we live, discussing ideas, and thinking critically about various subject matters and connecting with random travelers along my path.
Currently I am in school, going back full time, and starting over from scratch. I've decided to approach my continuing education with an open mind and heart, as I venture into a more fulfilling life journey.
Recently married, I found the person I didn't want to be apart from for the rest of my life. Together, Sean and I have developed a podcast, called "Literally Figuratively" that we sink our creative energy into. It's on itunes, under Literally Figuratively The Podcast. With the help of a mutual friend that I have held onto tight since high school, Sean, Chris and I talk about everything. Nothing is off limits. We just celebrated our 60th episode this week.
My goals for 2017 are to 1) officially change my name to my new married name, and 2) begin a podcast of my own called "The Cordial Bitch". I'm not going to lie, the results of this recent presidential election depressed the sh*t out me. But regardless of the outcome, I realize that it is important, now more than ever, to come together to discuss how we are going to heal from such division in our country. We women need to be strong. And we need to be strong together, supporting each other. There is no more time for us to compete, self destruct, or succumb to being second best.
I'm a feminist. I believe we should all be feminist. I believe we should also support our fellow men that are truly strong and worthy of respect. After all, without strong, supportive and worthy men in our lives, we would cease to exist.
But we must coexist. With love, honor, respect and integrity. That's what I'm all about.
