Bio
My name is Brittany L. Reid. I am a lover of Mass Media, News, Entertainment, and Animation! I'm a very positive and fun person!
My Inspirations/Idols Include: Walt Disney, Jim Henson, Ross Bagdasarian Sr./Jr. & Janice Karmen, Dr. Seuss, & Charlotte Bronte, and of course my parents! ^_~
A few shows/franchises that I love are: The Muppets, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hey Arnold, anything related to Disney, and a wide variety of animes [Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Kamisama Kiss, Durarara, etc.]. I also love Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Phineas & Ferb.
My favorite reality shows are: Face Off, Dance Moms, Braxton Family Values, and Tamar & Vince.
I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in the field of Mass Communications. My minor was Creative Writing.
I wrote, illustrated, and published my first children's book in 2008 entitled, "Quack-a-Doodle-Doo: Do it Like Dave." This is the first in a series of books I'm working on to promote self-esteem within today's children. The book's website is www.quackadoodledoo.com.
2008 was also the year I began to host my own TV show while in college. The show was entitled: Reid's Reel Review. I reviewed films, played trivia games, and interviewed people on their opinions about movies that were released throughout the year. Early episodes of the show, as well as videos showcasing more of my videography skills, can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/user/reidreelreview
I am highly skilled and conceptualizing, writing, shooting, editing, and marketing promotional videos for entrepreneurs and businesses.
I also have a blog through which I have posted news articles on a wide range of topics. The blog is also the place where I have feature some of my creative writing works: http://breidmedia.blogspot.com/
However, I plan on using Wordpress.com for future blogging purposes. I think I'll have a lot of fun here! ^.^
