Bio

Bob is President of ServiceChannel, a B2B network for facilities managers and their contractors. Prior to joining ServiceChannel, Bob was Senior Vice President, Network and Financial Solutions for Ariba, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARBA). Reporting to Ariba’s CEO, Bob was responsible for monetization of the Ariba Network, Ariba’s cloud platform for connecting Global 2000 customers to their supply bases. Before his 10 years with Ariba, Bob spent 14 years working in the food industry supply chain. As Senior Vice President, Corporate Services at Silliker Laboratories Group, Inc., Bob helped Silliker grow into the world’s leading food testing and consulting network. Bob also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Food Ingredients Division of The NutraSweet Company, a division of Monsanto. Bob began his career in the Chicago office of the The Boston Consulting Group, as an Associate Consultant. Bob serves as Lead Director of Ariel Investments, on the boards of Hubwoo SA (NYSE Euronext: HBW) and Eved, LLC., and has served on the Boards of Silliker Laboratories Group, Inc. and The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Bob received his AB in Economics from Princeton University, Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar (top 10% of class).
