Bio
I'm 29 and 3/4 (that's right, I'm sucking every last month out of my 20's that I can) & on December 23, 2014 I was diagnosed with stage 2 Cervical Cancer. Unfortunately there is no actual 10 step guide to dealing with cancer. Well, look, there probably is - but I've spent the majority of my illness so far avoiding any form of advice and help that the 10 step guide is now redundant and is probably only useful to roll up joints (joking, kind of...)
Basically, this blog is about my journey* navigating through diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer. There are definitely no butterflies, or positive affirmations. It's non emotional, probably not informative if you're researching cervical cancer and most times, it's definitely a what not to do account of living with cancer. Apologies if you've stumbled across this wanting to read about sliver linings etc.
*Journey - the adjective non cancer and positive cancer peeps like to use when too polite to use the words 'this is fucked up.'
