Hello… Welcome to Butter, Basil and Breadcrumbs. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I live in Western NY with my family... I'm a mom of three grown kids, and our one year old black Lab, Sophie.
While cooking is truly my passion, I'm not a chef. I'm more of a trial and error cook, and I count on my own, my family’s and my friend’s taste buds to let me know if it’s a win or fail. Let's be honest here... things happen in the kitchen, and I've had my share of failures!
Basically, I’ve been bombarding my friends on Facebook for so long with what I call my “Quests” to find the perfect “whatever” recipe and perfect it. I’ve been told over and over again that I should start a blog, and I finally worked up the courage. So really, my plan is to compile and share my favorite recipes, explain the tribulations that I had to overcome to perfect that recipe, or to just share something, anything …ok…. everything that I absolutely love.
