Bio
Beverly Hills Caviar is a supplier of caviar and gourmet food. The Malossol sturgeon eggs, are known to be the most expensive food ingredient in the world. It is mostly used in French, Russian and Persian Cuisine. Hundreds of years ago, this rare delicacy was solely reserved for the European royal families that lived in the vicinity of the Caspian Sea. After all, shipping the product across Europe was an impossible task.
After World War I, food was in short supply, and our family started a fishing business in the newly formed USSR. At the time, fish meat sold remarkably fast, but caviar, needed to travel to west Europe, where the wealthy clientele lived. So, our family started an import office/store in Germany, where the caviar would be sold to the socialites of that time.
A decade later, Despite promises from politicians to never repeat the horrors of World War I, a second war was threatening to hit Europe once again, forcing businesses to close their doors or move away. Our family was forced to close the business and return to the USSR.
After World War II has ended, many of our family members were dead or missing across Europe, and our family made a decision to leave Europe for good, and start a life and a caviar business in New York.
In the mid 70’s, our family opened a caviar shop in Los Angeles California. It was a risky move that took time to pay off. Ten Years later, with the help of our supportive community, caviar was introduced to movie stars and TV hosts, who were quick to brand it as the symbol of the Rich and Famous. In 2001, we started our Beverly Hills Caviar online store, which became the most convenient way for customers to buy and receive caviar anywhere in the US. In 2012, we launched our world famous Caviar vending machines. The concept was a first of its kind and it generated over 2 million posts on Social Media and over 300 articles on Printed and Online news outlets around the world. The machines became so famous that they soon appeared on most TV shows and News channels, such as: CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, Fox News, Steve Harvey, Jay Leno, Martha and Snoop, Shah's of Sunset, KTLA, etc.
