Bio
Jack Marshall is the President and founder of ProEthics LTD. A graduate of Harvard College, and Georgetown University Law Center, he practiced criminal law in Massachusetts and organization law in the District of Columbia, and has led non-profit organizations devoted to education, public policy research, legal services and health.
He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Ethics at the Washington College of Law at American University.
Marshall's articles on topics ranging from leadership to legal ethics to sports and popular culture have appeared in The Federal Lawyer, Newsday, Trial Magazine, Ethics Today, several state bar publications and many websites. His ethics commentary is featured on radio talk shows and television news segments across the country, as well as National Public Radio, “Your World” with Neil Cavuto, the O'Reilly Factor, PBS's Religion and Ethics Weekly, and as a contributor to “O” Magazine. He is the co-author, with Pulitzer Prize winning historian Ed Larson, of "The Essential Words and Writings of Clarence Darrow", published by Random House, and contributed articles on baseball ethics to the Hardball Times 2009, 2010 and 2012 Baseball Annuals.
He is also an award-winning stage director, and the artistic director of The American Century Theater, a company dedicated to producing classic American plays. He lives in Alexandria with his wife and partner, Grace Marshall, their son Grant, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Rugby.
