Bio
Christina Berke is currently working on an intergenerational memoir about her Chilean heritage, including the 1973 coup, through the lens of body image, interpersonal violence, and self worth. Her writing has been supported by the Southampton Writer's Conference as well as the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and she is an Author Fellow with the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing, a Norma Watkins Fellow with the Mendocino Coast Writers' Conference, and a Writing Fellow with the National Writing Project.
A graduate of UCLA's Master of Education program, she also freelances as a curriculum developer, editor, and tutor.
Aside from this, she spends her days perusing dog adoption websites, testing new skincare products, and trying to avoid all the open browser tabs on her laptop.
