Bio
Harald Leibrecht is a German-American citizen. Leibrecht holds an International Business degree from universities in France, Germany, and the United States. He also received a MBA from an American university. Leibrecht was the Executive Director of an international university from 1984-2007. He served in the German Parliament for over ten years as the Deputy Chairman for the International Cultural and Educational Affairs committee, the Chairman for one of Germany’s political parties, and as a member of the Economic Cooperation & Development and Foreign Affairs committees. Until the end of 2013, Leibrecht was the Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation in the Field of Intersocietal Relations, Cultural, and Information Policy as appointed by the German Parliament He was recently nominated as the President of the Board of Directors for CEPA Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) public charity, which is dedicated to international education, global engagement, and transatlantic issues.
