Bio
Champa Bilwakesh was born in India. She earned her MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers. Her work has been published in Kenyon Review, Monsoon Magazine, Sugar Mule, and India Current where they won Katha Prize. Her story The Boston Globe Personal Line was nominated for the Ploughshares Emerging Writers Contest, received honorable mention in the 2007 Pushcart Prize, and has been translated into Italian for the magazine El-Ghbili. She lives in Andover, MA, where she produces TV shows for the community channel.
