Bio
Mr. Chancellor C. Roberts, II is an author, educator, theologian (a theologian is merely someone who studies the things of God; all Christians are - or should be - theologians), scholar (a scholar is merely someone who studies and such study doesn't have to be limited to a particular discipline), and Navy veteran.
Mr. Roberts has a Bachelor of Science degree in multidisciplinary studies (religion and special education) and a graduate certificate in global studies. He is certified to teach English to adult speakers of other languages (ESL), and is eligible to teach early childhood through eighth grade and ESL in Texas. He is also a Spanish language learner.
Mr. Roberts served in the United States Navy as a Religious Program Specialist from 1981 to 1992 and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He worked for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review from 1993 to 2013 as an Office Automation Clerk (March-October 1993), Hearing Clerk (October 1993 to June 1997), Legal Assistant (June 1993 to September 2000) and Paralegal Analyst/Decision Writer (September 2000 to January 2013). He currently teaches English as a foreign language.
Mr. Roberts is the author of: God in Three What? An Examination of the Use of Persons in the Trinity Doctrine (Publish America, 2006); Homesick (Publish America, 2010) and We Believe: A Commentary on the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of 381 A.D. (Publish America, 2013).
Mr. Roberts extensively studied the trinity doctrine and its early history after he came out of oneness Pentecostalism. Because of that study, he came to adhere to the original version of the Nicene Creed of 325 A.D. and the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of 381 A.D. (This is detailed in his 2006 book God in Three What? An Examination of the Use of Persons in the Trinity Doctrine). He has been a pastor, a Bible teacher, and a Sunday school teacher, and has otherwise been involved in church leadership. He currently serves overseas.
Politically, Mr. Roberts is a libertarian and constitutionalist who has extensively studied the American Constitution and the writings and verbal statements of the American founding fathers.
Mr. Roberts is a member of Refreshing Springs Church, an independent Reformed church in Buffalo, New York. He is also a member of Mensa (the society for people with IQs at or above the 98th percentile) and of the International Association of World Englishes.
