Bio
I am by no means a chef. I am 25 years old and I simply love food. I feel so alive and powerful in the kitchen. I enjoy the process of creating a meal. The greatest part of cooking is sharing my passion, my outlet with others. Food is one of the biggest parts of my life. Food is apart of every major occasion and holiday. No matter where you go everyone always thinks about these three things 1. Where to stay 2. What to do and 2. Where/What to eat. Aside from my love of consuming food I greatly enjoy the cooking process as well. I have a "thing" when I'm in the kitchen. Before I cut, prep, wash, boil, season anything I have to plug up my iPad and play jazz on Pandora. My go to cooking stations are Nate King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Bossanova. My love and deep appreciation for Nate and Frank came from my father. My dad will never let go of the classics, he grew up on it. My love for Bossanova (Brazilian jazz) came from my husband, whom I've been married to for a year now. There is no such thing as a car ride with my father or my husband without music. My husband and I love to ride in his mustang. We happened to be having date night and he wanted to play something for me that he had never played for me before. He grabbed my hand, turned on Bossanova and I have been hooked ever since. To the music and to him! After I find the perfect music station I then pour myself the perfect glass of wine then I am ready. Honestly the best part about cooking is the look on my family and friends faces when they eat my food. That look makes all the slaving in the kitchen and endless trips to the grocery store worth it. I hope you enjoy my blog and I can somehow inspire you trough my many dishes that I'm thrilled to share with you. Please remember "Eating is a necessity, Cooking in an art" -Pinterest quote
