Bio
Chelsea McIntyre is in the BFA Sculpture program at California State University, Long Beach. She is originally from Huntington Beach, California, but has since relocated to the Long Beach area. She is interested in a variety of mediums, but is most intrigued by and focused on performance art and temporal sculpture. Influences include Allan Kaprow, Marina Abramovic, Chris Burden, Trisha Brown, Bruce Nauman, and Dan Graham among other types of artists and psychoanalytical theorists such as Julia Kristeva. Chelsea can be found most of the time either on campus working on a project or off campus working and training as a salsa and ballroom dancer.
