Bio
Cheryl Zipay Kirby thrives when helping people find their true potential. As an instructor, and a trainer specializing in creativity and innovation leadership, Cheryl understands people make the difference in the 21st century workplace. She facilitates on change management, leadership development, business ethics, professional communications, teambuilding, and creativity and innovation strategies. Cheryl has taught at The University of West Florida, Pensacola State College and spoke at national and international conferences on strategies to foster a culture of innovation. Cheryl has coauthored an article published in Human Resource Development International and developed an original tool assessing a culture of innovation leadership. She has a Ph.D. in Human Capital Development from The University of Southern Mississippi and a M.A. in Communication Leadership. Cheryl is The Associate State Director of Marketing and Professional Development for the Florida Small Business Development Center Network, a standing facilitator for The Training and Development Certificate Program for The Jack & Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute at The University of Southern Mississippi, and President of IGNITE, a creative-problem solving consulting firm. She is an active member of American Creativity Association, Creative Education Foundation, and a member in several community organizations.
