ABOUT THE DESIGNER - DEVONA
I am a native of Washington, DC. I am a self-taught jewelry designer, and I created the Chic Adornments line in my studio in my home in Maryland right outside of Washington, DC.
I began designing and creating jewelry in 2003 as a very expensive hobby that grew into a passion. I love the hunt for colorful gems, and I love designing and creating new pieces of jewelry. Finally, in 2005, I knew that I needed to try my hand at turning this self-taught craft into a business. So, in September 2005, I created Chic Adornments and in December of that year, I began to sell my line of fine handcrafted jewelry.
