Bio
Hi! I'm 46, single and live alone in Waterlooville, England. I have had health issues since birth with hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (genetic condition)and in January 1988 I became seriously ill with what was later diagnosed as "Severe M.E." I spent from ages 17-21 bedridden, was blessed with significant improvement with high dose antibiotics for 9 years, before a further collapse aged 30.
Since then there have been better days and not-so-good days but in general my condition is gradually deteriorating and humanly speaking the prognosis is not good. I have trouble with eating, can't walk, need morphine constantly for pain (and that doesn't cover it) and now the chest muscles are 'permanently' affected so my breathing is vulnerable too. (M.E. is NOT the same thing as CFS - to find out more about both conditions and especially M.E.,
|the most accurate and extensive site I know of is: www.hfme.org)
However God works all things together for the good of His children - Rom 8:28 (His definition of 'good' - becoming more like Christ v.29). He is the great Physician and not limited by human knowledge so I know I will be healed one day. It is just a question of whether it is before or after death! In the meantime He has been teaching me about peace, contentment and joy in every circumstance so I can legitimately claim to be among the most blessed people on this planet. To God be the glory!!
