100% or not at all. It's the only way to be.
I'm an ideas monkey that loves football, jazz, Macs, and ideals. I’m a copywriter by trade and have over 20 years’ experience of working above, below and through the line for advertising and design clients.
I'm happiest hanging out with my daughter and being amazed by how smart she is.
I seem to know a colossal amount about the daftest of things. Like the earth has at least 5 moons. Koalas aren't bears. And Birmingham has more miles of canal than Venice (I know. I couldn't believe that last one, either).
That's one of the things I love about being a copywriter. I get paid to learn about new stuff all the time. I have to know a product or service inside out before I can do it any sort of justice. So that's what I spend my time doing. I think of my job as solving puzzles. How can I best communicate what needs saying to people? And that's what I love. Trying to always come up with a better way of doing things. It's like being a kid and seeing how fast you can go between two lampposts. Or the best way to the top of a tree. Or even like playing a computer game. It's the challenge that I love. And the reaction of people when they see the advert/message. That's amazing.
