Bio
Life writing is my first passion, art is my second (lately discovered). I write memoir and theory, blended, and am fascinated by themes of desire, loss, hope and courage. I paint wildlife and natural scenes, using soft pastels. I have had many incarnations in this lifetime, from country girl, to middle class housewife, to single woman, to postgraduate student, to writer and editor, to artist, but always I have been a devotee of nature and the diversity of life, be it human, animal, plant or mineral.
