Bio
My name is Francisco J. Ramirez and I am a new Illustrator. I have a small background in 3D, am looking forward to extending it into the world of toys and action figures - not just CG...
I love almost anything Sci-Fi, WWII themes, steampunk and dieselpunk too, I also love to create pinup art related to any of those genres as well
I have worked with:
3D props for video games, and slowly getting into character design on the side (for toys)
Airbrushing, love to get dirty, looking forward to adding this to real live prop making and NERF toy gun modding, and also Gundamn model kits
Traditional art, sketching, illustrations (digital and/or old school media such as acrylics, oils, and oil/soft pastels, not patient with watercolors, but have tried it when studying live architecture, it's fun!
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology for Video Game Arts at The Art Institute of California - San Diego in December of 2007.
I am currently setting again as a Freelance - Illustrator, and getting my hands on anything traditional, as I save up to build myself a new PC workstation for 3D once again.
