Bio
Jean Gray is an award-winning journalist with over thirty years working in rural community newspapers. She earned writing awards for features stories, editorials and news coverage. A strong advocate for the First Amendment, the Colorado Freedom of Information Council awarded Gray the Jean Otto Friend of Freedom Award in 2002, and the Colorado Press Association named her Newspaper Publisher of the Year in 2005. A Kansas transplant, Gray continues to live and work in Colorado where she enjoys writing stories about people and places.
